Spicy Squid (Koonthal) Roast ,Kerala Style Kanava Roast

Squid(koonthal):1/2 kg ,Cleaned and cut into rings
Tomato:1 ,chopped
Green chilli:3
Chilly powder:1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste:1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder:3/4 tsp
Coriander powder: 1 tsp
Garam Masala powder:1/2 tsp
Fennel Seed powder:1/4 tsp
Salt: to taste
Small Onion:5-6,chopped
Curry Leaves:few
Coconut Oil:3 tsp
Preparation Method 
1.Heat oil in a pan,add onions and saute until it turns to brown color.
2.Add tomato,green chilli,ginger garlic paste and saute again for few minutes.
3.Add Turmeric ,chilli,corinder powders and saute until the raw smell disappears.
4.Add in squid and very little water ,cover and cook for few minutes.
5.Add salt,garam masala and fennel powder ,combine well and cook for few more minutes.
6.In another pan heat 1 tsp of coconut oil and add chopped small onion along with curry leaves,saute until it turns color and add into masala.Mix well and remove from fire.
