Chicken Pulao

Basmati Rice/Long grained rice:1 1/2 Cup,soaked
Boneless chicken:500 grams,cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tsp
Yogurt:1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Oil:4 tsp
Cumin Seeds:1/4 tsp
Cinnamon:2 inch piece
Onion:2 medium,sliced
Tomato:3 medium,chopped
Red Chilli Powder:3/4 tsp
Chicken Stock:3 Cup
Preparation Method
1.Marinate the chicken with yogurt,ginger garlic paste and salt for 1 hour,preferably in a refrigerator.
2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker add the cumin seeds and saute for few seconds.Add Cloves,Cardamom and Cinnamon ,saute again for 10 seconds.
3.Add the sliced onion and saute till golden color.Add the tomatoes and cook for few minutes,stirring continuously.
4.Add the chilli powder and mix well.
5.Add the marinated chicken and saute for three minutes.Pour in the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add the rice ,cover the cooker and cook over medium heat up to two whistles.
6.Remove the lid when the pressure has reduced completely.
7.Serve with so e raita and pickle.
