Aval Vilayichathu/Sweetened Rice Flakes


Ingredients
Aval/Riceflakes:2 cups
Jaggery:1 Cup
Coconut shredded:1/2 Cup
Cardamom powder:A pinch
Water:1 Cup
Preparation Method
1.Boil water in a vessel and add jaggery pieces into it .Once it is melted strain the liquid.
2.In a saucepan boil this syrup for few minutes.
3.Add shredded coconut ,stir continuously.
4.When the mixture becomes thick remove it from fire.
5.Add  Rice flakes and cardamom powder ,mix well.
6.Sweetened rice flakes is ready to serve.
