Chicken Manchurian


Ingredients for Manchurian
Chicken:1/4 kg(cut into small pieces)
Corn flour : 3 tablespoons
All purpose flour / Maida: 5 ts
Ginger garlic paste:1/4 tsp
Chilli powder : 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Ingredients for Manchurian Sauce
Onion:1,chopped
Garlic:3,chopped
Ginger:a small piece,crushed
Green chillies:3,chopped
Corn flour:1 tsp
Capsicum:half (chopped)
Water :  1/4 cup
Soy sauce:1 tsp
Tomato sauce:1 tsp
Vegetable/sunflower oil:1 tsp
Salt to taste
Preparation Method for Manchurian
1.Heat oil in a pan.  
2.Meanwhile, make a thick batter with maida,corn flour, ginger garlic paste,chilli powder and salt.
3.Dip each chicken pieces in the batter and drop into the hot oil one by one,fry until golden color.
4.Remove from oil and drain in paper towels. Keep aside.
Preparation Method for Sauce
1.Dissolve the corn flour in ¼ cup of water.
2.Heat oil in a pan and once the oil hot, add chopped garlic and stir fry for a few seconds. Add the green chillies and ginger and saute for a few seconds.
3.Add  onion,capsicum and saute for a few seconds, add sauces and salt.
4.Add the corn flour mixture to the above and cook for a few minutes until thick and the corn flour is cooked.
5.Add the fried chicken and combine.Toss on high flame for 1-2 minutes.Turn off heat and garnish with the chopped coriander leaves
