Okra/Ladies Finger Theeyal

Ladies Finger: 8- 10 (cut )
Grated Coconut: 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder: 2 tsp
Coriander powder: 1 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder: 1/2 tsp
Green chilly: 2
Tamarind pulp: 2 tsp
Water:1 cup
Fenugreek powder: a pinch
Mustard  seeds: 1 tsp
Dried Red chillies: 2
Small Onion: 3-4,chopped
Curry leaves: few
Preparation Method
1.Dissolve the tamarind pulp in 1/4 cup water and keep aside.
2.Heat a pan, dry roast the grated coconut, followed by turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and jeera powder until it turns to dark brown and aromatic. Keep aside.
3.Grind roasted coconut by adding little water to make a smooth paste.
4.Heat little oil in a pan and saute the ladies finger by adding little salt. Add the coconut paste, tamarind pulp and enough water .Let the curry to boil.Add fenugreek powder if using.
5.Heat little oil in other pan,splutter mustard seeds.Add chopped small onions ,red chillies,and curry leaves.saute until the onions turns to brown color and pour this seasoning into the curry.
