Kappa Puzhukku / Kappa Ularth

Tapioca:2,cut into cubes
Water as required
Salt:A Pinch
Turmeric powder:1/4 tsp
To grind
Coconut:1/2 cup, grated
Cumin seeds: 1/4 tsp
Garlic:2 cloves, chopped
Green chilly: 4
Salt to taste
Water: enough to grind into a coarse paste
For Tempering
Coconut oil : 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds: 1/4 tsp
Small onions:3-5, chopped
Dry Red chilli :3
Curry leaves:few
Preparation Method
1.Peel off the skin from the tapiocas, cut into cubes, clean it well under running water.
2.Cook it in a pressure cooker along with water,little salt and turmeric powder until the tapioca becomes soft.
3.Meanwhile in a blender grind grated coconut along with garlic ,green chillies , and cumin powder by adding little salt and water.
4.Add this paste to the tapioca,mix well and continue cooking for few more minutes.
5.Heat oil in a pan ,splutter mustard seeds,add small onions, dry red chillies and curry leaves, saute till onions have turned brown.Pour this to the tapioca and mix well.
