Kappa Biriyani

Kappa / Tapioca:1 kg
Chicken /Beef :1/2 kg
Crushed ginger & garlic :1 tsp each
Chilli powder: 1 tsp
Coriander powder :1 tsp
Turmeric powder:1/2 tsp
Grated coconut: 1cup
Coriander powder :1 1/2tsp
Small onion:5-6,chopped
Salt to taste
Coconut Oil:1 tsp
Red Chilli:4
Curry leaves:2 twig
Preparation Method
1.Cut the tapioca into square pieces of 2-3cm length and width and clean it well under running water.
2.Cook it in a pressure cooker by adding turmeric powder and salt until the tapioca becomes soft.(Tapioca’s should be fully immersed in water).
3.Once it is fully cooked, drain off the water completely and keep it aside.
4.Marinate the cleaned meat with  onion,ginger garlic, all powders, & salt. Cook the marinated meat till it becomes tender.
5.Add the mashed tapioca to the meat & mix well.
6.Give low flame to keep the mix hot while mixing.
7.Meanwhile roast grated coconut with chilli powder & coriander powder till it becomes golden brown.Grind it and add this mix to mixture & mix well.
8.Heat oil in a pan add small onion & Red chilli saute until brown color . Add this to the meat tapioca mix & stir for 4-5 minutes. Garnish with curry leaves.
