Chicken Roast

Chicken:1/2 kg
Onion:1 1/2,chopped
Tomato:1 1/2,chopped
Ginger Garlic paste:1 tsp
Green Chilly :2,slit
Chilly Powder:1 tsp
Garam masala:/4 tsp
Turmeric powder:1/4 tsp
Pepper powder:1 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder:1/2 tsp
Cinnamon: 2, medium size pieces
Cardamom: 2 no
Curd:2 tsp
Lemon juice:1 tsp
Curry leaves:few
Salt to for taste
Oil :2 tsp

Preparation Method
1.Wash and cut the chicken into medium size pieces and pat dry.
2.Marinate the chicken pieces with the turmeric powder,chilly powder, little salt, curd, lemon juice and keep in refrigerator for 1 hour 15-30 minutes.
3.Heat oil in pan add cinnamon and cardamom saute for few seconds.
4.Add chopped onions, curry leaves and saute well until the onions turns to brown color.
5.Add the ginger garlic paste, green chilly saute in low flame for 1 minute.
6.Add tomatoes and saute well until tomatoes are cooked and oil oozes out.
7.Add chicken pieces, salt ,pepper powder ,garam masala and jeera powder and saute well until the masala is well coated onto the chicken.Cover and cook until the chicken is soft.
8.Sprinkle the lemon juice and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
