Pazham Pori(Plantain Fritters)

Ripe plantains:3
Maida:1/2 cup
Sugar:1/2 cup   1/2 cup sugar
Turmeric powder:1/4 tsp
A pinch of salt
Oil:2 1/2 cup  
Preparation Method
1.Peel plantains,slit lengthwise and cut into halves.
2.Make a batter with maida by adding water. Mix in sugar,turmeric and salt.
3.Heat oil in a kadai,dip plantain slices in batter and deep fry till golden brown.Drain and serve hot.
