Mango Pickle

Unripe mango:1 Kg
Red chilly powder:4 tbsp
Mustard seed:1 tsp
Fenugreek seed:1 tsp
Turmeric:1 tsp
Ginger:A small piece
Curry leaves:1 spring
Salt to taste
Sesame oil:1/4 cup
Asafoetida:1/4 tsp
Preparation Method
1.Finely chop the mangoes.
2.Heat oil in a kadai, add the mustard and fenugreek and wait till mustard finishes popping.
3.Add curry leaves,crushed ginger and saute for a minute.
4.Add chopped mango with turmeric,red chilli powder and enough salt.
5.Add the asafoetida too.
6.Stir continuously and let it cook in low heat till the oil oozes.
