Chatti Pathiri

For Chicken Masala
Chicken breasts: 2 breasts, cut small
Chilly powder:1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste:1 tsp
Turmeric powder::1 tsp
Garam masala powder:1 tsp
Fennel powder:1/2 tsp
Coriander powder: 1 tsp
Salt: to taste
Coriander leaves:one handful (chopped)
Preparation Method
1.Pressure cook chicken pieces along with little turmeric powder and salt.
2.Once it is cooked mince shred the chicken pieces with hand.
3.Heat oil in a pan,add onions, saute until translucant.
4.Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste ,saute for 1 minute and add all powders and salt.
5.Add chicken and cook for 2 minute,add coriander leaves.
6.Keep aside.
For making Chappathi
All purpose flour or Maida: 1½ cups
Water:as needed
Salt: to taste
Preparation Method
1.Make a dough with above ingredients.
2.Make 7 small balls with the dough and roll out into thin round shaped chappathi. (The size of chappathi should be the same of the width of the pan used to make chattippathiri)
3.Heat a pan ,place each chappathi on the pan and half cook both sides.
4.Keep aside.
Other ingredients
Egg, beaten: 4 or 5
Pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
Salt: 2 pinches
Ghee roasted cashew nuts, chopped: for garnishing
Ghee: 4 tsp
1.In a wide bowl, beat 2 eggs along with Pepper powder and 2 pinches of salt.
2.Heat a deep bottomed pan, grease the pan with ghee, place it over low heat.
3.Dip the first chappathi in the beaten egg and place it as the first layer in the pan.
4.Spread the chicken filling evenly over the chappathi.
5.Garnish with roasted cashew nuts.
6.Dip the second chappathi in the egg, place it over the chicken filling.
7.Spread the chicken filling and cashew nuts.
8.Repeat the layering till all chappathies are finished.
9.pour the remaining beaten egg over the top layer.
10.Cover the pan with its lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes in low flame.
11.After 15 minutes, cover the pan with a plate and flip it over.
12.Grease the pan with little more ghee.
13.Gently transfer the chattippathiri to the pan, the top part should be go into the pan.
14.Cook covered for 5 more minutes in low heat.
15.Stop fire,cover the pan with a plate and flip it over.
