Ash Gourd and Yam Curry / kumbalam -Chena curry

Ash gourd:1cup,cut into cubes
Yam:1 Cup ,cut into cubes
Green chillies:3
Turmeric Powder:1/2 tsp
Chilli powder:1/4 tsp
Water as needed
Salt to taste
Grated coconut:1/4 cup tsp
Cumin seeds:1/4 tsp
Small onion:5
Garlic :5 pods
Curd:1 Cup
Mustard seeds:1/4 tsp
Red chillies:3
Curry Leaves;few
Coconut Oil:2 tsp
Preparation Method
1.Grind grated coconut along with cumin seeds ,garlic and small onions with enough water.
2.Cook Ash gourd and Yam along with turmeric powder,chilli powder,green chillies and salt by adding enough water.
3.Once cooked add coconut mix and allow it to boil.
4.Dilute the curd by adding little water and pour into the curry.Add 2 minutes more and switch off the fire.
4.Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds ,add red chilli and curry leaves.
5.Pour this to the curry.
